Vintage Santa Airplane Christmas Card - Early 1900s Aviation

Santa seems entirely convinced that he's made the right choice abandoning his reindeer in favor of a spindly early-aviation biplane, because apparently the best way to express 'Christmas magic' is through a Wright Brothers knockoff held together by what appears to be wooden dowels and misplaced confidence. His brown sack of gifts is crammed behind him while white boxes with red ribbon sit up front, presumably sorted by 'things that will survive a crash landing' versus 'things that won't.' The upper wing helpfully reads 'Merry Christmas' in gold lettering — a festive touch that does absolutely nothing to address the fact that Santa's only visible controls appear to be a single stick, and he is grinning like a man who has never once consulted a checklist. A sprig of holly decorates the front wheel, because if you're going down in flames, you might as well do it with seasonal garnish.
