Text on Card

If you see two witches at midnight, With a peacock feather all of white, You may be assured there's a lover's spat, So steal the feather from off their hat, Pick a four leaf clover and your temper keep, On Halloween and there'll be no cause to weep.

Description

Dressed in red and green clothing with pale faces, pointed hats adorned with white feathers, and elaborate white collars, two identical witches face each other in a haunting yet charming Halloween greeting card. Their mirror-image composition creates an eerie symmetry as they lean close together, with a glowing jack-o'-lantern nestled between them below. Two black cats flank the witches on either side, and a bat flies above against a full moon. One witch holds a broom. The witches' symmetrical arrangement creates an eerie balance, while an ornate decorative border frames the verse below, which reads a poetic message about witches, a white peacock feather, and their midnight encounter.
