Vintage Thanksgiving Greeting Card with Turkey & Flowers

The artist clearly believed that a turkey — nature's most aggressively brown bird — was crying out to be rendered entirely in magenta and violet, like a Thanksgiving fever dream filtered through a purple fog machine. The turkey's fanned tail, embossed in gold and deep pink, has the structural integrity of a decorative doily, while its ghostly lavender body appears to be actively evaporating into the cream background. Flanking this existential poultry crisis are pink flowers and what appear to be grapes rendered in mint green and lilac, because apparently someone was legally prohibited from using a single color that occurs in nature. The gold script spelling out 'Thanksgiving Greeting' is doing its absolute best to class up a card that looks like a turkey walked through a Monet and didn't survive.
