Vintage Thanksgiving Greetings Card with Turkey & Harvest

The tall champagne flute rising from the plucked turkey's back like some kind of avant-garde centerpiece is the first clue that this deeply unhinged tableau was designed by someone with questionable dinner party sensibilities — specifically, a Victorian serial killer's dinner party. The turkey itself lies flat on a golden platter, head still very much attached and flopped to the side in the particular posture of the recently murdered. Grapes, peaches, and small fruits litter the table with suspicious abundance, as if the fruit heard what happened to the turkey and arranged themselves in a nervous tribute. The whole scene glows against a rosy pink background that screams 'cozy harvest warmth' while the turkey's glassy-eyed red head screams something else entirely. Whoever designed this card wanted you to feel gratitude, and instead delivered existential dread with a ribbon banner.
