Thanksgiving Turkey Vintage Greeting Card, Early 1900s Chromolithograph

There's an unsettling energy to this magnificently plumed bird—a turkey with a gloriously iridescent green body, a fan of golden-orange tail feathers, and the audacity to carry a wicker basket of fruit using its beak and one yellow-clawed foot, as if catering its own execution.
