Victorian Santa Christmas Greetings Chromolithograph Card

Santa has apparently decided that the best way to deliver Christmas cheer is to emerge, disembodied, from a holly bush like some kind of festive cryptid — no body, no sleigh, just a magnificently white beard and a soft red cap floating in a sea of aggressively pointy leaves and red berries. His rosy cheeks and pale blue eyes give him the serene expression of a man who has absolutely accepted his fate of being consumed by seasonal shrubbery. The gold-lettered "Christmas Greetings" at the bottom is doing its absolute best to convince you this is a wholesome holiday card and not documentation of a pagan botanical ritual claiming another jolly old man.
