Vintage Thanksgiving Greetings Card with Turkeys & Pumpkin

These two very much alive turkeys — one dramatically fanning its iridescent tail feathers, the other playing the role of sullen sidekick — appear to be landlords surveying their property from atop a rocky ledge, gazing with aristocratic disdain at a large pumpkin and sad little squash below. The script reading 'Thanksgiving Greetings' floats in the upper right with the cheerful obliviousness of someone who has absolutely no idea what's about to happen to these birds. Honestly, for a holiday card celebrating the consumption of this exact species, the turkeys seem shockingly unbothered — which is either touching or deeply stupid.
