A glowing stone church with a luminous stained glass window and warmly lit doorway, framed by an avalanche of holly and berries so aggressively festive it's compensating for something — this is what Dennison's Christmas Post Card presents. Victorian figures in top hats and long skirts trudge through the snow toward the entrance, the full costume-drama package contained within a circular gold vignette that frames the scene like God himself is doing the cropping. Below it all sits a vast white void — the lower half of the card conspicuously blank, presumably intended for your heartfelt message but which, left empty, reads more like an existential statement about the holidays. Cozy? Sure. But also somehow a little haunted.
