Victorian Valentine's Day Card with Cherubs and Hearts

'To my Valentine!' proclaims the elegant script at the card's center, but what it actually depicts is three chubby-cheeked cherubs — dressed in scraps of gold, white, and green fabric that cover approximately nothing — operating what can only be described as a heart-trafficking operation, carrying a shared stick from which two large red hearts dangle like particularly romantic game trophies. Each cherub sports small feathered wings and an expression ranging from 'smug about love' to 'genuinely unhinged about love,' while the one in the middle appears to be gnawing on the stick, because sure, why not. Decorative ribbons curl around the edges and a spray of shamrocks and red hearts floats overhead — creating a scene where three semi-nude baby mercenaries hauling human hearts on a pole somehow passes for the most romantic thing imaginable, which, in Victorian times, it apparently was.
