Victorian Easter Greeting Card with Anthropomorphic Animals

The rabbit in the red jacket has claimed the throne — literally perched atop a massive ornate red egg mounted on a wheeled cart, wielding a whip over two harnessed baby chicks pulling the whole operation forward, while a second rabbit in a blue jacket shoves from behind like unpaid warehouse staff. The chicks, to their eternal humiliation, have been reduced to livestock, yoked to a cart carrying an egg — the remains of their kin, essentially — through what appears to be a perfectly pleasant pastoral landscape that has absolutely no idea the labor violations occurring within it. The curly script reading 'Easter Greeting' in the upper right corner is doing heroic work trying to class up what is, at its core, a depiction of rabbit-on-chick exploitation with a decorative egg as the McGuffin.
