Vintage Halloween Greeting Card with Witch, Black Cat & Jack-O-Lantern

An enormous full moon with a fully rendered human face — complete with heavy-lidded eyes and a smug expression — looms overhead while a witch floats through a purple-streaked night sky with the confidence of someone who absolutely did not ask for your opinion, clutching a grinning jack-o'-lantern as a black cat watches from behind with the energy of a disapproving roommate. Because apparently even celestial bodies in 1910 had main character syndrome. The embossed cream border, far from being skulls, is actually populated with owls, cherubs, little moon-faces, and what appear to be dancing frog-people, which somehow makes it MORE unsettling than skulls would have been. The card's cheerful 'Hallowe'en Greeting' text sits below all this chaos like a hostess insisting everything is fine while the moon watches you with its dead, knowing eyes.
